We are a group of photo-enthusiasts passionate about photography and gear. Unlike traditional media, we do not focus on objectivity, but rather transparency. What this means is that although we will occasionally receive free and loaner products and trips from the companies that we write about, these will always be disclosed in any reviews that we publish.
We will never solicit freebies, reward companies that provide them, or punish companies that don’t. Our reviews of products are based on our opinions resulting from hands-on tests, and — regardless of our relationship with the companies behind them — are not always favorable.
We keep our advertising and our editorial content strictly separate. Advertisers do not have influence over our content, nor do we ever accept any form of compensation in exchange for articles unless it’s clearly-marked sponsored content.
We will occasionally use affiliate links (e.g. Amazon’s Affiliate Program, Viglink) when directing readers elsewhere to learn more about products.
